Overall Vision Originality
Technique ImpactThis is a very startling photo, with a blurriness that to me, makes you not focus on the obvious danger of the teeth but look into those cold reptilian eyes and realize that you are not being seen as a living breathing individual with thoughts and dreams, but as a piece of food. It's intensely personal and that makes it an uncomfortable but intriguing photo. Many crocodilians get photographed profile style to show off those long jaws but this is an abrupt but welcome change of pace. The lighting and detail is eye catching and it makes the viewer confront a very scary predator.
